Mobile Community Events

The Mobile Community Events software examines how to make community activities more engaging. Designed as a cross-platform website oriented to mobile devices, the site includes an easy to navigate daily list of events where users can click through to more details about each event and get directions to the event. Users can search events by category, date & time, and physical distance from the user - returning both list and map-based views of the events. Users can post comments and photos.

Iterative trials of the software were done at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts and First Night State College.
